New Tenants, Initiatives Drive Gift+Home

Monday January 14th, 2013 - 1:42PM

New exhibitors and tenants expanding showrooms have driven the repositioning of Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market as the industry's premier western marketplace, according to International Market Center, which operates the host facility. The effort also gets a boost from the continued remerchandising of current tenants at World Market Center Las Vegas, IMC added, with 40 new lines scheduled to debut during the Winter market, January 28 to February 1, in addition to 20 new and five expanded showrooms.

"Interest in and excitement about the Las Vegas Market is at an all time high," Dorothy Belshaw, president of IMC’s Gift & Home Décor operation, asserted. "Many of our current tenants are recommitting themselves to Las Vegas Market by expanding their showrooms and extending their leases.  At the same time, several leading companies are establishing a first-time western presence here in Las Vegas."

Giftware suppliers making their western debut this Winter include 1 Point West, Buckhead Betties and burton+BURTON, a group which joins new C8 tenants Blossom Bucket, Coton Colors, Amscan, Inc.’s Grasslands Road division, International Gem & Minerals, Roman and Seasons Jewelry. Other permanent newcomers debuting at the winter 2013 Gift+Home are Hanna's Handiworks, Meissenburg Designs and Santa's Own, all located in Building C on the 9th floor.
