Vista Alegre, a fine porcelain and crystal tableware, and giftware company, has announced the creation of a subsidiary in the United States, Vista Alegre USA, which will import and distribute its products throughout North America. The company’s collections will roll out to authorized U.S. retailers in April following their official debut at the New York Tabletop Market, on the ninth floor of Forty One Madison.
“Vista Alegre USA offers the depth and breadth of a prestigious, innovative brand, supported by a new distribution facility with a dedicated customer service and operations team that will provide all U.S. logistical services,” said Daniel Da Silva, president of Vista Alegre USA. The company’s new warehouse space in Fairfield, NJ will provide all order management and distribution services within the U.S. market.
“Creating a subsidiary that will import and distribute Vista Alegre products while controlling the supply chain and the communication around the brand is the only way for us to make sure that our retailers receive superior customer service,” added Da Silva. “Everything Vista Alegre is doing is designed to streamline the purchasing experience of our retailers and to help us become one of their primary suppliers.”
Vista Alegre’s 13,000-square-foot distribution facility in New Jersey will play an integral role in the company’s newly-created Quick Ship Program. This new program, according to the company, allows it to guarantee North American delivery of 500 SKUs within three to five business days. The company will deliver special orders within four to six weeks. The products in Vista Alegre’s Quick Ship Program represent a cross-section of fine porcelain, crystal and giftware, and will change over time according to ongoing retail demand, the company stated.
