Spectrum Brands is returning to the International Home + Housewares Show here this week and is using the opportunity to unveil a range of new product offerings, including several new programs under its Black & Decker and George Foreman brands.
Among the highlights is a comprehensive new line of Black & Decker toaster ovens employing new EvenToast technology.
“Our marketing and new product development teams have really done a phenomenal job bringing Russell Hobbs into the Spectrum value model,” said Andy Van Wie, vp/sales and marketing, North America for the Home Appliance Division of Spectrum Brands. “It’s really important whether it’s Remington, Rayovac, Black & Decker or one of our other brands, to deliver the same features at better prices or better features at the same price.”
The new Black & Decker toaster oven line encompasses five models at pricepoints ranging from $29.99 to $39.99, each offering the benefit of the company’s EvenToast Technology, which is aimed at optimizing heat distribution, enhancing temperature control and delivering more accurate and consistent timing.
“The end benefit is we’re able to claim that we offer 30% more even toasting versus the competition,” said Van Wie.
