The red dot design awards program has recognized Blueair’s Sense air purifier for outstanding excellence, honoring the company’s product design with a “red dot: best of the best” award. The Sense air purifier was one of just 58 products winning the “red dot: best of the best,” the highest award in the competition, noted Blueair.
“We are thrilled to be honored by the red dot jury for all the creativity and hard work we’ve put into creating the Sense as a game changer in the indoor air purification industry,” said Bengt Rittri, founder and owner of Blueair.
The Sense air purifier features a contemporary glass and steel design, new technologies and eco-friendly materials. The energy efficient air cleaner employs a second-generation HEPASilentPlus filtration system that removes germs, dust and smoke from the indoor air, and features an interactive motion-sensitive glass top that allows users to change speeds with simple hand swipes above the scratchproof surface.
The red dot award is the fourth international design accolade since Sense was launched. Sense has been honored by Japan’s Institute of Design Promotion, Sweden’s Design S awards and the 2012 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
