At this year's International Home + Housewares Show, Oreck Corp. continued to expand its air purifier line, as well as its floor care and cleaning assortments. The new generation of products marked the company's debut at the Housewares Show, as well as the company's 50th anniversary.

“Air purifiers are a natural extension of our home cleaning assortments. Consumers are increasingly turning their attention to allergies and pets in the home, and cleaning the air. We want to make our air purifiers as easy as possible for her to use,” said Allyson Horst, national account manager, Oreck.

The company's new AirInstinct 75 is an advanced technology HEPA air purifier that features a smart air sensor that determines and adjusts air cleaning speed. Oreck's PATH (Pre-filter, Anti-odor, True HEPA) filtration system continuously checks the level of particles in the air passing through its sensor and adjusts its air flow speed accordingly. On the front panel of the unit, the three-color lighting system lets the user know when it's working and at what speed.

Oreck's AirInstinct 75 is available now at Oreck Clean Home Centers and major retailers, and has a suggested retail price of $249.
