UV Flu Technologies Commences Brand Awareness Campaign

UV Flu Technologies, Inc. has announced a national television brand awareness campaign for its air purification products. The company has retained Stardust Broadcasting to run approximately 500 60-second television spots on various national stations with the intent of building the brand and educating the consumer about the dangers of indoor air pollution.

According to the company, the Stardust-produced ads will start running later this week on stations such as CNN, ESPN, Fox News, Fox Sports and the Discovery Channel.

UV Flu Technologies manufactures the ViraTech UV-400, a filterless air purifier for residential and commercial use, which utilizes high-intensity ultraviolet radiation (UV-C) to eliminate harmful airborne bacteria, at rates that are said to exceed 99.2% on a first-pass basis, while also reducing the concentrations of odors and volatile organic compounds, the company noted. In addition, the FDA has issued a Class II medical listing that enables UV Flu Technologies to market the product as a medical device, according to the company.
