Despite what it characterized as a best-ever showing last year, 7W reported yet another record Spring Home Fashions market for 2013, with attendance up over 15% versus the 2012 event, the facility organization announced. More than 300 buyers walked 7W every day of the market, it asserted.
Over 1,600 senior buyers from many of the most significant home and textile retailers in the world visited 7W during the market, the organization reported, including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Costco, Macy’s, QVC, Ross, Century 21 and Target among other bricks retailers. The buyers list also included representatives from online retailers such as One King’s Lane, Target.com, Myhabit.com, Macys.com, and Beyond the Rack, it added.
“We continue to work to ensure that each market here at 7W is productive for our tenancy. This Spring Home Fashions market not only achieved our goals but well surpassed our expectations. It is very refreshing to see such a positive attendance trend and to see our tenants enjoying such favorable business activity. For a market that attracts primarily larger retail buyers, it is typically unprecedented to have such significant increases in attendance, which make this achievement so exciting for the building and our tenants,” stated Chris Collins, vp and general manager.
