Sauder Woodworking has completed construction of a 5,500-square-foot expansion to its 220 Elm Building showroom in High Point, NC, it has announced. The additional space will house new product collections and extensions to existing groups for the spring furnishings market, the company stated.

The larger showroom, now totaling about 30,000-square-feet, provides Sauder and sister company Progressive a better showcase for new and existing products as well as additional categories of RTA, the company maintained.

Sauder first occupied its present showroom in the 220 Elm Building in April 2001, where visitors could check out the company’s core home office, entertainment and bedroom furniture. Since April 2008, Sauder subsidiary designer and importer Progressive Furniture has showcased its wood bedroom, accent and dining furniture in about 60% of the total showroom space.
