Kuhn Rikon has added a new PushPan to its current lineup, which is currently comprised of three round sizes. The new PushPan Square also brings a new dimension to the line.
It is the first 9-inch square baking pan that combines a 100% leak-proof design with easy release and bake-and-serve convenience, the company said.
“Many consumers want a removable base on their 9-inch square baking pan to make it easy to remove the baked dish perfectly intact, but in the past this meant sacrificing a tight seal. With the new PushPan Square, they can have it all,” said Chelsea Schlunt, managing director of Kuhn Rikon USA.
Freezer-safe and oven-safe up to 450°F, the PushPan Square features a Swiss ILAG PFOA-free non-stick surface and a removable base with a patented silicone gasket that creates a super tight seal, the company said. The “no-spring” version of the springform pan is heavy gauge, designed for even heat distribution. It performs in either conventional or convection ovens.
The 9-inch PushPan Square has a suggested retail price of $35. It will be available for shipment in May 2013.
