Sauder debuted its new showroom at the Spring High Point Market, along with a fresh approach to the marketplace. The company has broadened its product line, retaining core products and styles but adding new items and a collection, Soft Modern, aimed at the Millennial consumer.
Mike Lambright, Sauder’s director/marketing, noted that the addition of Soft Modern is only part of the vendor’s drive to be a more diverse and expansive ready to assembler furniture supplier.
The company has added a new finish, Soft Oak, which will complement other colorways and provide the retailer with products that suit a wide range of style preferences from contemporary to cottage. Sauder has added product across segments, expanding kitchen, dining and bedroom, too.
Sauder also is putting more emphasis on meeting emerging needs in the marketplace. It is providing home living solutions, with multifunctional pieces, for example, that do more for a consumer who is spending a greater amount of time in the domestic environment and products that support electronics use in a period when a range of devices is offering additional professional and leisure options.
The market, in High Point, NC, concludes Thursday.
