Yesterday’s Honeywell Housewarming Party, held at the Setai Hotel on Fifth Avenue in New York City, previewed some of the brand’s upcoming home comfort introductions for this spring, summer and fall. Honeywell highlighted new introductions across a range of home environment segments.
Honeywell showcased an Energy Star qualified True HEPA air purifier lineup with three sizes available, and a licensing extension, with a new Honeywell with Febreze Freshness tower fan. The home event also previewed new Honeywell humidifiers and Wi-Fi Smart thermostats.
For the upcoming fall and winter season, Honeywell unveiled a new line of infrared heaters that will roll out in September. The heaters utilize infrared technology and top panel digital controls. Two units feature Honeywell’s Energy Smart controls, which are said to help lower energy bills and increase energy efficiency.
At the event, Kaz USA also introduced more of its private label ChillOut personal fans with colorful mini towers, as well as an electric spa wrap under the SoftHeat brand.
Additionally, Dr. Ted Myatt, environmental health expert, microbiologist and senior scientist at Environmental Health & Engineering, was on hand to discuss a pilot study undertaken by Kaz USA and EH&E. Using Honeywell’s AirGenius air cleaner in a home in New York and a home in Los Angeles for two months, the study then tested the air filters, determining the home’s indoor air quality and what types of pollutants and allergens the air cleaner captured.
