Sauder Product Debuts Signal Updated Strategic Direction

Sauder Woodworking Co. is refocusing its business to serve a new generation of consumers, the company has announced. The company’s new brand image features a contemporary logo, colorful and stylish packaging, and will manifest in the debut of several pieces with a modern feel at the Fall High Point Market from October 19 to 24.

Consumers who follow Sauder on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube can review expanded content meant to provide style inspiration. The company also will launch a new mobile-optimized website that allows customers to research products from home or on the go, it stated. In addition, Sauder plans on encouraging popular bloggers to try its new items, report on their experiences and offer insights into how consumers can use the fresh products to achieve certain style aesthetics.

Sauder already expanded its product line up with the spring premiere of the Soft Modern Collection, available for purchase at High Point Market. The collection features 35 bedroom, occasional, dining and storage pieces. It showcases a mix of materials and finish options, the company noted. Many Soft Modern pieces also are designed to accommodate technology, including streamlined desks for laptop and tablet use, Sauder added.
