Although it continued to expand its line of desks, including a new, utilitarian model in an informally dubbed iPod white finish, Twin-Star International also built out its line of electric fireplace mantles at last week’s Fall High Point Market. Among the new products, the company offered an update on a freestanding mantle that offered a new heating unit and more functional design.
The new 23RM2094-C327 mantle, 37 inches wide by 11.75 inches deep by 28.25 inches high in a Midnight Cherry finish, rolls out with an infrared heating unit that not only is more colorful than earlier versions but also extends the product’s warming range. However, the mantle can fit any Twin-Star heating unit, so it can be offered sans infrared. Twin-Star added a magazine rack to the mantle itself to make the item more useful, in line with the trend of furnishings flexibility evident throughout the market.
Suggested retail price is $349 and it ships in January.
