IHA Widens Press Reach With First London Event

In mid-October, IHA held its first-ever press event outside of the U.S. Held at the Good Housekeeping Institute, in London, the event featured 13 IHA members showcasing  products for the U.K. consumer press.

Companies that showcased products at the international event included Anchor Hocking Glass, Creative Tops, J.K. Adams, JML, Knightsbridge Global, Lodge Manufacturing, MadeSmart Housewares, Microplane, Nordic Ware, Progressive International, simplehuman, Trudeau and Wilton Brands. Products ranged from cook and bakeware, cutlery and dinnerware to cleaning products, kitchen tools and accessories and cake decorating items. 

More than 30 journalists from key consumer and trade publications attended the event.

To help its members receive attention from the news media for their new products, IHA sponsors three press events annually in New York City in the U.S. The next event is the 2014 International Home + Housewares Show Preview, Jan. 22, 2014. Sixty exhibitors will be previewing new items for 2014 and 50 to 60 editors are expected to attend.
