World Kitchen’s Baker’s Secret, CorningWare and Pyrex brands are being featured in “Dish Up the Love” this holiday season with Top Chef All-Star Antonia Lofaso, executive chef and partner at Black Market Liquor Bar and Scopa.
The “Dish Up the Love” promotion is designed to celebrate special holiday moments in and around the kitchen and asks at-home cooks and bakers to share their holiday memories and time-honored recipes at WorldKitchen.com/DishUptheLove. For each recipe entered now through December 25, Baker’s Secret, CorningWare and Pyrex will spread the joy of the season by donating $1, up to $50,000, to Feeding America— a nationwide network of food banks.
“When I think of the holidays, memories of my loved ones gathering and celebrating family and friends come to mind. A huge part of that is cooking up our favorite family recipes and reminiscing around the kitchen table,” said Lofaso. “I’m excited to work with Bakers Secret, CorningWare and Pyrex to share my family holiday recipes and memories while helping the brands lead the fight against hunger with Feeding America.”
Lofaso is sharing tips for holiday cooking, serving and storing utilizing the World Kitchen brands, through the promotion. Some of her tips for holiday memory-making include: continue traditions with family favorites; use non-stick, dishwasher-safe bakeware like Baker’s Secret when making holiday cookies to spend more time with the kids and less time on clean-up; serve meals family style; showcase favorite dishes in bake-to-tableware, such as CorningWare, which can complement holiday tablescapes and transition from oven to table to storage; and make favorite recipes in advance of the party. To enter the Dish Up the Love contest, cooks and bakers can visit WorldKitchen.com/DishUptheLove or the Baker’s Secret Facebook page to enter the “Dish Up the Love” Contest for the chance to win a suite of Baker’s Secret, Pyrex and CorningWare products weekly and a grand prize trip for two to New York City during Valentine’s Day weekend. The Grand Prize winner and guest will also receive round-trip transportation, accommodations, per diem and a suite of Baker’s Secret, Pyrex and CorningWare products for an estimated value of more than $4,000.
