The National Candle Association Conference & Expo will run this year from June 2 to 6 at the Louisville Marriott Downtown, Louisville, KY. The annual conference will include technical presentations and workshops as well as networking events, industry updates and a suppliers’ trade show, NCA stated.
The technical program will feature presentations on market and price drivers for vegetable waxes, color-trend analysis and forecasting, and factors impacting candle discoloration. In addition to the technical program, conference participants can register for two reserved seating workshop sessions, one on resolving wick challenges and the other on fragrances and consumer behavior.
The NCA Expo will take begin at noon on Wednesday, June 4 and close at 6:30 p.m. It will showcase product innovations and technologies available from leading wax producers, wick suppliers, fragrance houses, equipment manufacturers and other vendors.
The conference concludes Thursday, June 5, with NCA’s annual business meeting, keynote speaker address, group luncheon, afternoon technical program and closing evening gala. A meeting of the ASTM F-15.45 Candle Fire Safety Task Group, which is open to the public, will run on Friday morning.
