Castey and José Andrés have collaborated on the celebrity chef’s first cookware collection, which is launching at this year’s International Home + Housewares Show. The José Andrés by Castey cookware collection combines advanced stainless steel cookware technology with state-of-the-art functionality and design, according to Castey.
“Tradition and modernity are the foundation for innovation, and no one could bring these together for me like Castey,” explained Andrés. “I am proud to be working with the Castey family to bring to life my cooking collection that is modern and refined and backed by their generations of cookware experience.”
The José Andrés by Castey collection is launching to U.S. retailers during an event at this year’s show, at which the renowned chef José Andrés will perform a cooking demonstration at the Cooking Theatre on Sunday, March 16th at 11:00 AM.
The Andrés cookware collection was designed by Spanish National Design Award winner, Jorge Pensi along with the research and development department of Castey and Andrés. The cookware features lids and side handles demonstrating this philosophy especially well. The lids are reversible with three positions: fully closed, partially closed to release steam and as a warming tray, serving tray or trivet. The collection is NSF commercial-certified with riveted handle designs that allow the cookware to be nested and stacked for easy storage.
José Andrés by Castey complete assortment includes stackable Cook Sets, Stock Pots, Saucepots, Sautéuse, Fry Pans, non-stick Fry Pans, Sauté Pans, Saucepans and a Pasta Insert Basket accessory.
