Lifetime Brands, Inc. has garnered several awards this month, for both its Savora kitchen tool line and its contributions and partnership with Ahold USA.
The company has been selected by Ahold USA as 2013 Non-Perishable Vendor of the Year. Ahold USA is responsible for four divisions— Stop & Shop New England, Stop & Shop New York Metro, Giant Landover and Giant/Martin’s— that together operate more than 770 supermarkets with approximately 120,000 associates in 14 Northeast/Mid-Atlantic states and the District of Columbia.
Lifetime Brands is the exclusive supplier for Ahold USA’s Smart Living private label kitchen tools, gadgets and cookware, for which sales increased by more than 20% in 2013. According to Lifetime, sales for the products provided by Lifetime Brands outpaced overall Ahold USA general merchandise department sales. The company is also a major contributor to Ahold USA’s “Our Family Foundation” charity.

For its Savora kitchen tool line, Lifetime Brands has earned a Chicago Athenaeum Good Design award for its Savora ice cream scoop as well as a Best of Home award from NY Now for its colander.
