Chef Works has introduced three lines of cutlery designed by Knifemaker Hall of Fame inductee Ken Onion. All made in the U.S.A., the collections are accompanied by a line of accessories, such as cutting boards and wooden storage units.

Constructed of BD1N steel, the Sky collection of cutlery features a Chromium molecule in it that has been treated by liquid Nitrogen to enhance the strength of the steel and make it highly rust resistant, the company said. Featuring a double-riveted textured G-10 handle, the knife has a sky pattern that emulates stratus cumulus clouds and prevents sticking to the blade surface. The suggested retail price of an 8-inch chefs knife is $199.95.

The Rain collection combines a G-10 Garolite double-riveted handle that has a drop-style and control bump to aid in smooth and efficient knife usage, the company said. Constructed of high-carbon stainless steel, the blades feature a rain pattern that also reduces sticking of foods while cutting. The Rain collection 8-inch chefs knife has a suggested retail price of $169.95.

The Cascade Collection features a high-carbon stainless steel blade with a textured glass-filled polypropylene handle. The suggested retail price for an 8-inch chefs knife in this collection is $70.00.

The Ken Onion collection also includes cutting shears, a honing steel, an oak knife block and knife cradle and reversible cutting boards in maple wood and cork.

Chef Works is also launching the Endurance collection of cutlery that features colored blades and handles in Sapphire blue, Platinum silver and Amethyst.
