Lifetime's Simon To Retire; Bial, Mackrell Take On New Tabletop Roles

Lifetime Brands, Inc. has announced Glenn Simon, group president/Lifetime Brands’ Tabletop division, is retiring as of April 11. In addition, the company has announced promotions in its tabletop division. 

Simon, a 34-year industry veteran, joined Lifetime Brands in 2007 as president of the dinnerware and glassware division, and he was promoted to group president of the Tabletop division in 2009.

Scott Bial, president/Lifetime Brands' Metals division, will add the position of president/luxury dinnerware to his current duties, effective immediately. In addition to his current leadership on Lifetime Brands’ flatware and metal giftware/serveware businesses, Bial adds oversight responsibility for the Mikasa dinnerware, glassware, and serveware businesses. Bial reports to Jeffrey Siegel, chairman and CEO, Lifetime Brands.

David Mackrell, svp/Lifetime Brands Housewares Dinnerware division, has been promoted to president/Housewares Dinnerware, effective immediately. Mackrell will provide strategic direction for Lifetime’s Housewares dinnerware brands, including Gourmet Basics by Mikasa, Pfaltzgraff, Bombay, Guy Fieri, and Nautica. Mackrell reports to Jeffrey Siegel.
