Bodum has announced the appointment of Patrick V. Accorsi as president and general manager of Bodum USA, Inc., the North American arm of the global, privately held brand. Accorsi succeeds Thomas Perez, who has decided to leave the company after 14 years. Perez will remain active in the company until the transition is made, the company said. Accorsi will assume responsibilities on July 1.

With more than 18 years of relevant industry experience, Accorsi most recently served as vp/sales and marketing for North America at Bormioli Rocco Glass Company where he restructured and established a North American subsidiary for the brand and achieved record setting sales growth for the company in 2012 and 2013, the company said. Prior to Bormioli Rocco, Accorsi was vp/sales at Zwilling J.A. Henckels.

"We are confident that Partick's experience will assist him in ushering our brand to new heights under his leadership and vision," Jorgen Bodum, owner and managing director for Bodum said. "His results-oriented approach and ability to think strategically will play a pivotal role in extending our track record of innovation, while helping us grow profitability."
