Las Vegas Market today announced expansion of lifestyle resources for its Summer Market, which will be held Sunday, July 27 to Thursday, July 31, 2014. It has added new multi-line showrooms and its temporary micro showrooms are sold out.
“We’re successfully building the lifestyle category at Las Vegas Market and the summer edition will feature a record 250 lifestyle resources in both permanent showrooms and in temporary exhibits,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president/Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “This growth is a cornerstone in our strategy to position Las Vegas Market as the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States.”
The number of lifestyle lines on C10 is increasing by 50% this summer, with the addition of six new tenants: Grace by Catherine Sullivan, Margot Elena, K. Hall Studio, Mary Lake-Thompson, Aesthetic Movement; and Keena.
Manufacturer showrooms on C10 include: Archipelago, Camille Beckman, D.L. & Co., and Glory Haus/Elf on the Shelf, as well as multi-line lifestyle tenants including Anne McGilvray, highlighting more than 40 major lines; Just Got 2 Have It!, showing more than 35 lines; Fine Lines, with more than 25 lines, and K Hall Studio Inc.
Beyond permanent showrooms, temporary exhibits presented in “micro showrooms” on C10 are sold-out for the Summer Market, with 18 confirmed exhibitors: Be Home; Dayna Decker Home; D.L. & Co.; French Studio Imports; Glenda Gies; Heritage Lace; Hot Skwash; Jax + Jack; Kiss That Frog; Modern Candle, Nu Op; Objects with Purpose; Pisu Bazaar; Prestige Identity; Rustico Leather; Seda France; Stewart Stand; and Wendell August.
According to Belshaw, “Beyond lifestyle expansion in general, we are witnessing growth specifically in the juvenile category. For the summer Las Vegas Market, we expect to present a record 105 juvenile resources.” A contributor to this category growth is the July 2014 debut on C10 of the first PLUSH Pavilion, which is expected to feature more than 10 juvenile resources.
In addition to the concentration of juvenile resources on C10, there is an increasing infusion of new and expanding juvenile products throughout Las Vegas Market.
In connection with the growing numbers of gift, home décor and lifestyle resources in Building C, Las Vegas Market is moving its 4th annual Gift For Life charity event to C10. The “Up on 10” fundraiser, which will be held on Monday, July 28, will include a “Las Vegas experience” silent auction featuring a variety of Vegas-themed items that can be redeemed during the Winter 2015 Market. Tickets for the benefit cost $25; and may be purchased online at www.giftforlife.org/events, or at specially-designated kiosks onsite during Las Vegas Market.
Las Vegas Market reported that it has experienced dramatic growth across the furniture, home décor and gift categories since 2013, with 850,000 square feet of expanded showrooms as well as the addition of new resources and categories, such as specialty tabletop, lifestyle merchandise, fashion accessories and artisanal crafts. Notable brands among the 1200 new suppliers added in the last year in Building C are: Abbiamo Tutto, Alessi, Andrew Martin/Cisco Brothers, Ann Gish, Anne McGilvray, Archipelago, Bramble Company, Child’s Studio, Design Legacy, Enesco, Fine Lines, Giftcraft, Just Got 2 Have It!, Karen Robertson Collection, Lenox, Luna Bella, Michael Aram, MATCH, Moe’s Home Collection, Oly Studio, Roost, Skyros/Bodrum, The Gerson Companies, Toyology, Vagabond House, VIETRI, and Waterford Wedgwood.
