Thursday July 10th, 2014 - 1:27PM

Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores Inc. will open its newest West Virginia Sears Hometown Store on July 16. The Martinsburg location marks the fifth opening of a new Sears Hometown Store this year and the 15th opening of a new store across all of Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores formats, the retailer noted.

"Our new Sears Hometown Store is the perfect addition to the Martinsburg area," said Jeff Petrucci, the store's owner. "There is a high demand in Martinsburg for our top-of-the-line, competitively-priced products, and we're here to meet that demand. We look forward to serving the local community for many years to come."

Sears Hometown’s unique store format allows customers in small communities to have access to the products and brands usually found only in Sears stores, such as Kenmore, Maytag, Whirlpool, Bosch, Frigidaire, GE, KitchenAid and Craftsman, the company stated.
