New Desks Expand Twin-Star High Point Workstation Presentation

Twin-Star International is expanding its nascent home office business, adding a wider range of desks and workstations incorporating multifunctional features that make them appropriate for placement outside the home office environment. At last year’s Spring High Point Market, the company unveiled a range of scaled-down, feature-rich desks meant to acknowledge the consumer need for work surfaces outside of the traditional workstation setting.

Included in the newest introduction are items that offered novel features that gave them additional utility. Under its Tresani brand, Twin-Star’s 520D9609-M318 desk had a doubled tow on a swivel. Folded, the product could function as a small desk or console table. However, because of a double top on the item, the desk adjusts to become an L-desk or a straight extended workstation.

The new desk manifests a trend at this year’s Spring High Point Market toward providing a greater amount of work surface in product that still meets the consumer need for smaller products that are more efficient in use.

In addition, Twin-Star has developed a new workstation armoire, model 360D1866, that conceals a desk with tablet cradle and interior touch lighting when employed in tasks. The work surface flips open for users who are ready to use it and closes easily when they are done. Twin-Star designed the armoire with a full extension file drawer below and a tempered glass-fronted upper display cabinet. Inside, the cabinet offers a glass shelf and touch lighting.
