NY Now will offer 600 new suppliers at its summer edition, taking place from August 16 to 20 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 94. These newcomers will be among more than 2800 total exhibiting companies presented throughout NY Now’s four collections— Home, Lifestyle, Handmade and New!
“Exhibitor interest is at an all-time high,” said Christian Falkenberg, NY Now director and svp/GLM. “At this pace, we expect to increase the number of new-to-market resources from the usual 400 companies to a record 600 companies returning or making their NY Now debut this August.”
The NY Now Home Collection, located on Level 3 of Javits, showcases some 1,000+ suppliers in two sections— Home Furnishings + Textiles, and Tabletop + Gourmet Housewares— and in Accent on Design. Notable newcomers and returning companies within the two sections mentioned above include Arte Italica, Auratic Inc., Bella Notte Linens, Inc., Claude Dozorme Cutlery, Mepra S.P.A., Modern History, Natural Curiosities, Noir Furniture, Pine Cone Hill, Sagaform, Shady Acres Organic Farm, Tony Wais Design and VDS Group/Voila Home. Among key new and returning companies within Accent on Design are Ampersand, Creative Danes/Menu, Donna Wilson, EKOBO Ecology & Design, Hasegawa USA Inc, Justin Teilhet Porcelain, Martone Cycling, Native Union, Poppin, Stelton A/S, and Wintercheck Factory.
NY Now’s New! Collection will present some 200 first-time exhibitors in all home and lifestyle categories at Pier 94. Newcomers for the summer 2014 Market include Bison Bookbinding & Letterpress, Kitty Keller Designs, Obisugi Design, The Giving Keys and YOXO.
