Stadler Form has added to its home environment appliance assortment with the introduction of a new dehumidifier. Designed in Switzerland and new to the United States, the Albert dehumidifier features a contemporary housing, combined with modern engineering, to help ensure a healthy room climate, according to the company.
Aimed at drying out damp rooms, Albert can be used on the ground floor or in basements, in houses by the water, or in laundry rooms, Stadler suggested, to aid in reduction of moisture levels in the home, and in turn inhibit mold growth and exposure as well as dust mite proliferation.
The Albert dehumidifier features a swing-function, and the air diffuser ensures optimal air distribution for dehumidifying large rooms up to 197 square feet. A 340-watt motor with three speed levels also gives the unit power to handle larger rooms. The dehumidifier has a 1.2-gallon tank and a 24-hour timer. The consumer can select the desired on-and-off time to the minute, allowing the user to minimize electricity usage when necessary.
The dehumidifier also features a digital hygrostat integration and a night mode. The unit weighs 34.5-pounds, has wheels for transportation, along with a defrost sensor and hose for constant drainage. The Albert dehumidifier is currently available and has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $599.99.
