International Market Centers expects to offer an array of new resources and expanded showrooms in virtually every category offered at the Summer Las Vegas Market, running Sunday, July 27, to Thursday, July 31. The show host anticipates that expansions and new additions to both permanent and temporary presentations will bring more than 100 new resources to this summer’s show.
IMC asserted that notable new gift and home décor resources for the summer market, in both showrooms and temporary exhibit spaces, include: Colonial Tin Works, Couleur Nature, Honey & Me, Kalaty Rug Corp, Lunares, SABRE, Thompson’s Candles, and Vest & Associates. The newcomers join existing tenants who are expanding or relocating this summer: Giftcraft, Roman, Inc. and Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton.
Growth in Las Vegas Market furniture resources continues with the recent additions of Ace Bayou, Amisco, Barcalounger, CDI, Chairtech, Copeland Furniture, Cristo Rey, Décor-Rest, Huntington, LH Imports, Natuzzi, Oios Metals, Palatial, Tvilum, Vaughan, Violino and England, a La-Z-Boy Company.
Temporary exhibitions for the summer market, IMC maintained, include two new categories: First, which spotlights first time to market products, IMC noted, and Couture, which incorporates a unique presentation of artist/designer/maker products. The show hose pointed out that it had combined the Global and Made temporary categories to create a more seamless shopping experience for buyers, and the Fashion and Gift presentations to provide a variety of unique and novel specialty items across such segments as garden, plush, toy, seasonal, decorative gifts, spa, souvenir, inspirational, resort specialty, jewelry, accessories and apparel.
“Las Vegas Market is continuing to enhance and refine the market experience for both buyers and suppliers as we enter the second year of a three-phase strategic plan to establish ourselves as the leading cross-category market serving the furniture, home decor and gift industries,” said Scott Eckman, IMC’s chief marketing & strategy officer. “For July, we expect to continue the gains we’ve made over the past 18 months by expanding the depth and breadth of furniture, gift and home décor offerings, and by continuing our sharp upward trajectory in attendance.”
