Vail Takes Colonial Candle To New Destination

Colonial Candle is introducing a product line with a winter theme as part of its existing Destinations collection. The new Vail Group includes Toasted Marshmallow and Amber Port, new items and scents that complement additional introductions Lift Ticket, featuring the combination of bergamot, geranium and sandalwood in its aroma, and Ski Lodge, effusing crushed eucalyptus and warm cedarwood.

“The new Vail scents from the Destinations collection will transport your customers from their living room to the ski slopes this winter,” said Scott Wehrs, president of Colonial Candle parent
MVP Brands. “Our new candles will
allow retailers to help their customers get away with a strike of a match, no lift-ticket necessary.”

Debuting at summer 2013 trade shows, the limited edition Vail Destinations fragrances launch encased in oval glass jars, Colonial Candle noted. A 22-ounce sizes rolls out at a $25 suggested retail price, an 8-ounce sizes at a $15 SRP and a 3.5-ounce sizes at a $7.50 SRP, the company stated, adding that oval glass votives debut at a $3 SRP. In addition, for the first time, customers can order the Destinations collection products in Simmer Snaps wax melts at a $3 SRP, Colonial Candle pointed out.

Shipping begins in August.
