2018 Housewares Design Awards Ask The Judges: Steve Cozzolino

Steve Cozzolino is an award-winning, industrial designer. After earning an industrial design degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1993, Cozzolino worked in Chicago through 2000 on a wide range of projects in the consumer product, hardware, medical device and housewares categories— including Proctor & Gamble’s original Swiffer and Wet Jet Swiffer, Char-Broil Grills and Wahl Trimmers.
Cozzolino in 2001 collaborated with Eva Zeisel on a collection for Nambe. And from 2002 to 2006, he was design director at Karim Rashid Inc., where he worked on consumer product, cosmetic packaging, housewares, electronics, tabletop, furniture and lighting projects for companies such as Alessi, Artemide, Calvin Klein, Coca-Cola, Crest, Method, Nambe, Prada, P&G, Target, Timex, Umbra and Unilever.
In 2006, he launched Cozzolino Studio LLC, a full service product design and branding studio. Clients include ABInBev, Anheuser-Busch, Cuisinart, Johnson & Johnson, Lifetime Brands, L’Oreal, Mattel, Mr. Coffee, Nambe, Oster, PepsiCo and Westcott.
