Ecovacs Robotics will advance its smart home product line with the launch of Unibot, a multifunctional home management robot. The robot will be showcased at CES 2017, held in Las Vegas January 5 through 8.
According to the company, Unibot combines specialized Ecovacs technologies in the form of modules, in order to facilitate various multi-tasking functions. Features include a suite of sensors that can manage home security by warning of break-ins and broken windows, a high-quality air filtration system able to purify pollutants found in the air in targeted areas of the home and a vacuum capable of cleaning many different surfaces. Consumers will be able to control every function of the Unibot from the Ecovacs app, the company said.
David Qian, president of the international business unit of Ecovacs, said, “The intelligence and versatility of Unibot is, as much as anything else, a sign of things to come. We are very excited to be bringing this development to the world and empower consumers to live smart.”
