Ace Hardware Promotes Miller, Wiborg To New VP Roles

Ace Hardware has promoted two of its executives. Dan Miller has been named vp/retail operations and new business, and Brian Wiborg has been appointed to vp/retail development and supply.

Miller succeeds Kane Calamari in the role of vp/retail operations and new business, who recently transitioned to the role of vp/human resources, organizational development and communications.

Miller has been with the company for 33 years. He began his career with Ace in 1981 as a district manager, with subsequent assignments as retail services manager; store development manager; international sales manager for Europe and Middle East; regional manager and manager, new business. In 1998, Miller was promoted to director, retail operations.

Wiborg rejoined Ace in 2013 as director of category management and business to business. In his new role as vp/retail development and supply, Wiborg oversees category management, retail pricing, retail training, retail development, store systems and operations, and business to business.

Prior to rejoining Ace Hardware, Wiborg worked at The Room Place, where he was vp/marketing. He worked for Ace from 1994 to 2010 as an inventory analyst, associate buyer, category manager, and director of marketing and advertising.
