Adesso is focusing its furniture designs on electronics. Among the accent furniture pieces the company is featuring for the Summer Las Vegas Market are round tables that have raised edges or basket extensions to help ensure smartphones and other devices don’t tumble over the edge.
Of course, such electronics have driven a lot of furniture development in the mass market. The Adesso tables are still another manifestation of the link between technology and mass-market furniture.
Adesso also is offering mini-accent tables in black and white painted finishes and natural-look wood legs. The combination takes two trends that have lately risen, for natural and painted looks in wood, wood veneer or even paper constructions, and combines them in a novel but trending appearance.
The summer show, at the Las Vegas World Market Center, ends Thursday, August 6.
