Adesso Presents New Decorative Portable Lighting Styles

HIGH POINT, NC— In response to the trend for lighting to take on a more decorative role, Adesso is featuring a range of designs in its Spring High Point Market presentation designed not only to provide illumination but also to enhance the look of the rooms where they are placed.

For example, Adesso pointed out that it developed the Beverly table lamp to contribute a sense of elegance to the space where it is located. Styled to complement modern bedroom décor, the Beverly table lamp stands 25.5-inches tall, with a tapered clear bubbled glass base topped off with a soft-touch light gray fabric drum shade. The lamp comes with a clear cord and is smart outlet compatible.

A three-way rotary switch on the socket controls the 100-watt bulb. The three-way switch only functions full with a three-way light bulb. Otherwise, the switch functions in an on/off mode with the illumination tuned to the highest output.

In contrast to the relaxed refinement the company intends with the Beverly table lamp, Adesso styled the Miranda LED arc lamp to deliver a lively and light effect, and not only in form but in function as well. The lamp’s five arms support LED lights that furnish 2,500 Lumens of warm, functional and energy-efficient lighting, Adesso asserted. The 76-inch tall lamp can brighten an entire living area, and simultaneously provide a modern and minimalistic room accentuation in a brushed steel finish. White marble rimmed mini shades complement a chunky white marble base, from which emerges a fabric covered twisty cord.

The smart outlet compatible Miranda LED arc lamp has integrated LED bulbs that are not replaceable but are manufactured to last 50,000 hours, Adesso emphasized.

In a different turn on form, Adesso scaled back the Tribeca arc lamp for smaller spaces. Although 79.5 inches high, the lamp is only 38 inches at the widest point across the crown of shades. The Tribeca is, in essence, a compact arc lamp. The Tribeca arc lamp sports an antique brass finish and long cylinder shades that establish a retro, mid-century style. A rectangular white marble base adds a sophisticated shape contrast to the design.

The lamp works from three 60-watt incandescent bulbs or equivalent CFLs, has a clear cord and is smart outlet compatible. It can adjust to four settings— one light on, two lights on, three lights on and off— using the rotary switch on the pole.

Adesso has been considering function, often with small spaces in mind, across its product range. One example of how the company is providing extra accessible storage space to room environments comes in the shape of the Harrison shelf floor lamp. Adesso stated that, in designing the product, it intended to provide a fashion upgrade to traditional shelf lamp composition by mixing high-quality materials in a more ambitious design. As such, antique brass poles support two walnut-finished shelves and a square, textured natural linen shade. Adesso also boosted the functional element by locating two USB ports underneath the socket for easy access, so users can charge up smart devices conveniently.

Also smart outlet compatible, the lamp has a clear cord and a decorative metal pull chain to turn it on and off.

In another twist on its dedication to decoration, Adesso has been adding more pendants, sometimes as part of collections and sometimes as unique items in their own right. Among them, the Havana large pendant has a look that fits in with spaces decorated in a cozy style, according to Adesso.

Developed as a handy overhead lighting solution, the Havana pendant design allows for easy installation wherever it is needed, Adesso maintained. Cream colored rattan strings that encapsulate 60-watt incandescent or equivalent CFL bulb compose the Havana pendant, contrasted by a 15-inch black fabric covered cord equipped with an on/off rocker switch, so hard wiring is unnecessary.
