HIGH POINT, NC— At the Spring High Point Market, Adesso put a spotlight on its wireless charging and shelf-enhanced lamps.
AdessoCharge lamps have Qi inductive charging pads that can power up a variety of devices including new-generation iPhones.
The AdessoCharge pads have been tested and verified as safe and in compliance with the Qi standard, the company noted. The pads support charging on contact, which takes phones to full power in just three to four hours, depending on the device model. The lamps include a USB port located in the base and can charge two devices simultaneously. A unique quality of the AdessoCharge is its ability to charge via pad and USB while the light is turned on all at the same time with maximum efficiency across functions. Charging also can occur with the lamp turned off.
The Drake AdessoCharge table lamp has a modern look, and, when the light is on, it shines through a black textured fabric shade. The Emerson AdessoCharge Table Lamp has a mid-century modern style and operates off a simple rotary switch located on an adjustable globe shade.
As for shelf developments, the Sloan shelf floor lamp offers a sleek modern look with a swooping polished nickel pole. From the central base, the lamp swoops one way to support the accompanying large drum shade that tops off the lamp. The second shorter swoop supports a round, glass tabletop. With a double socket and two pull chain switches, consumers can adjust the light to suit their needs. The white fabric shade is paired with a chunky white marble base to create an elegant look.
The Channing shelf floor lamp pairs form and function. A large, textured white fabric shade mounts atop a thick polished nickel pole that has two round tempered glass shelves surrounding it. A double socket allows users to install two 60-watt bulbs that can generate bright, warm room lighting. A USB port on the pole allows for device charging. A rotary switch on the pole turns the lamp on and off.
