Alessi is expanding its partnership with (Red) to raise money and awareness for the Global Fund to fight AIDS with an updated (Product) Red Special Edition Collection that includes the Anna G and Alessandro M corkscrews and the Cohndom Box.
In addition, Alessi is once again supporting the Eat (Red) Save Lives: The Ultimate Food Fight Against AIDS campaign, which runs in the month of June.
Now in its fifth year, (Red)’s annual culinary campaign features a lineup of chefs, food and drink activations, dining experiences and products that raise money and awareness. For the event, Alessi is donating a number of (Product) Red Mediterraneo fruit baskets for two of the immersive food experiences: The (Red) Supper at the Bonnaroo music festival and the traveling dinner series, PlaceInvaders.
Alessi’s partnership with (Red) launched in June 2015 and since then the contribution made to the Global Fund from the sales of the Alessi collection is enough to provide more than 340,000 days of life-saving treatment to people with HIV, according to the company.
In addition, from June 18 to 24, Alessi will contribute 10% of all online sales to (Red)’s fight against AIDS.
