Alibaba Launches U.S. Trade Show Platform

Alibaba.com, Alibaba Group’s B2B trading platform, has launched a U.S. online trade show platform.

The series of category-specific digital trade shows developed with key industry associations and conference/trade show organizers will connect manufacturers and wholesalers in the U.S. with business buyers in a live online format across multiple days, Alibaba stated, kicking off with a nutritions and supplements show followed by events for food and beverage, agriculture and beauty and personal care, with more on the way.

The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing B2B sellers out of their top way of meeting and acquiring new customers, according to research the company conducted, Alibaba asserted, and business buyers are missing out on exploring new products and suppliers.

The Nutrition & Supplements show is set for July 7 to 10 in partnership with the USA CBD Expo, the nation’s largest CBD industry event, and the United Natural Products Alliance.
