All-Clad is launching a new cookware program targeted at restaurant chefs. Dubbed Encore, the program is designed to restore pans to their original performance level, the company said.
During the Encore recrafting process, the handles and rivets are removed from the pan. Utilizing a high-pressure heat treatment, the pan is sanitized. After being sanitized, the interior is polished to its original luster, the exterior is brushed and then the pan is restored to its original shape. The handles are also sanitized, polished and re-attached with new rivets.
The new program, said Michele Lupton, director of marketing for Group SEB, enables chefs to decrease costs as well as increase sustainability efforts.
“All-Clad Encore delivers top-performing pans to chefs at a significant savings— estimated at more than 50%— for their restaurants, all while protecting the environment,” Lupton said.
