Chef Thomas Keller has partnered with All-Clad to launch a cookware line under the name All-Clad TK, which will be distributed exclusively at Williams-Sonoma. The handcrafted collection features custom-shaped pieces and metal technology ideally suited to sautéing, making sauces, braising, or steaming, the company said.
“All-Clad embraces the same values that we do, those of integrity, quality and evolution,” said Chef Thomas Keller, chef and proprietor of the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, which includes The French Laundry and Per Se, among other award-winning restaurants across the US.
The collection features what Keller believes are All-Clad’s “optimal pieces,” but with some enhancements. The handles feature a more streamlined curve and the lids are universal, meaning they fit on every pot. Keller said, “It’s a waste of material and space to have so many lids.” The saucepots are also broader-based, and the collection features a rondeau pot, which allows for “larger-volume cooking.”
“All-Clad is excited to take our collaboration with Chef Thomas Keller to the next level,” stated Jim Poppens, vp/marketing for All-Clad. “Chef Keller’s inspiration for the collection meets All-Clad’s commitment to craft the best cookware for professional chefs and home chefs alike.”
Three lines will be available: the TK Foundation Set, the TK Integrity Set and the TK Inspiration Set. Suggested retail prices range from $44.95 for an individual piece to $1,599.95 for the 11-piece Inspiration set.
