Alligator of Sweden showcased its assortment of vegetable choppers at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
According to the company, its chopper was patented in 2001 and since has been a familiar kitchen tool worldwide. The company has reintroduced its assortment to the U.S. market, showcasing its original designs and some of its newer accessories.
The original Alligator chopper features a grid of stainless steel blades designed to cut sticks and cubes of vegetables evenly. The cuts/cubes measure 6 x 6 mm. The tool’s collector keeps the chopped ingredients in one spot until ready for use. A chipper attachment cuts sticks and cubes measuring 12 x 12 mm, while the mini chopper cuts sticks and cubes measuring 3 x 3 mm. In addition, the Alligator includes a mesh screen that fits onto each base and can be lifted to free any trapped food for easy clean-up.
The original Alligator chopper is available in green and white, as well as the newer stainless steel and black editions.
