Amazon is digitally calling together small and medium business partners from across the U.S. for its largest-ever event dedicated to seller success, Amazon Accelerate.
The virtual conference is slated for September 1 to 3 and is free to attend. Amazon participants will include Jeff Wilke, CEO of worldwide consumer, in conversation with Dharmesh Mehta, vp/customer trust and partner support, on how Amazon’s customer obsession drives its commitment to seller success. Also Christine Beauchamp, president of Amazon Fashion, will discuss building a brand through Amazon and Devesh Mishra, vp/worldwide supply chain, will discuss Amazon’s continued investments in operations and what’s ahead for Fulfillment by Amazon.
Amazon Accelerate participants also can connect with peers and learn proven techniques and best practices to apply as they grow their businesses in the digital economy. Also, experts will present strategies that can help partners adapt to the variability of the current market climate.
The conference is an opportunity for SMB sellers looking to continue to increase their e-commerce success as well as small businesses considering going digital and selling online for the first time. With more than 60 sessions across the three-day event, the conference gives attendees a chance to select the seminars of most interest to them over a range of educational topics. The event will be interactive and include breakout sessions, panels, lightning talks and live Q&A with Amazon experts.
“Amazon is deeply invested in empowering small businesses, and this is an important time for us to come together and learn from each other as we navigate new economic realities,” Wilke said. “It’s our good fortune at Amazon to partner with a large, vibrant community of sellers. Accelerate will help small businesses find new ways to grow and expand while also creating new connections.”
