With the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market at AmericasMart opening on Tuesday, retailers can expect to see new amenities and attractions to enhance the buying experience.
A daily New Buyer Breakfast will allow new-to-market retailers to meet one-on-one with AmericasMart’s Retail Services staff. There, the retailers can learn more about market resources and logistics, and develop an effective market buying plan while networking with other new buyers.
AmericasMart has also partners with local attractions for the AmericasMart Attraction Partnership Program. Inaugural partners include the Georgia Aquarium, the College Football Hall of Fame, the Center For Civil and Human Rights and SkyView Atlanta.
Buyers can obtain additional information about the attractions and restaurants in Atlanta by visiting the Information Station in the lobby of Building 1.
A number of housewares suppliers including Le Creuset, Bradshaw, Tervis, Dugan-Bliss & Associates, Corksicle, and Design Imports will be sponsoring the Portman Blvd. Summer Patio across the street from AmericasMart where attendees can indulge in fare from some of Atlanta’s finest food trucks and enjoy live entertainment.
Designers will also be treated to a number of attractions and events including a home decor programming with Rachel Ashwell, founder of Shabby Chic; HGTV’s ‘Love It Or List It, Too’ hosts Jillian Harris and Todd Talbot; FYI Network’s ‘Outback Nation’ host Jamie Durie; and ‘Recipe for Press’ author Amy Flurry.
