AmericasMart Readies 2020 Winter Atlanta Market

AmericasMart’s Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market is scheduled to take place January 14 to 21, 2020.

According to International Market Center (IMC), which operates the trade show, showrooms will be open Tuesday, January 14 to Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 9 a.m.  to 6 p.m. (select showrooms are open until 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17) . The temporaries are open Wednesday, January 15  to Saturday, January 18, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, January 19, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“The 2020 Winter Market in Atlanta sets the tone for IMC’s trade show year,” said Bob Maricich, IMC chairman and CEO. “With a reimagined marketplace, star-studded programming and trendsetting introductions by our exhibitors, this market launches a year of not-to-be-missed events.”

The Atlanta Next campaign kicks off with its first phase, which sees a re-merchandising of the home décor and open-year-round showrooms at AmericasMart, with an expected 75-plus campus-wide new, expanded and relocated showrooms.

The home décor resources will be presented in 300 showrooms on 12 floors. The Gift Collection features 19 floors of gift and specialty categories such as Gourmet & Housewares, Tabletop & Gift and Seasonal/Gift, in more than 700 showrooms.

IMC also stated that the temporaries will present more than 30 merchandise neighborhoods located throughout the AmericasMart campus, including six expanded Luxe categories.

The Shop the Show program will return with five influencers who will update buyers on top trends as they explore the market, share their shopping experiences and connect with designers and retailers at demonstrations and events.

The winter market will also celebrate the launch of Sherwin-William’s Color of the Year with an industry party decked out in the trendsetting hue.

In addition, the Atlanta Market will present the first-ever staging of Gift for Life’s Party for Life fundraiser. It will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Fernbank Museum.
