SystemBuild, a brand of Dorel Industries’ Ameriwood Home division, is rolling out a new Latitude storage collection.
With the rebranded SystemBuild product line, consumers can tailor the Latitude collection to fit an array of storage layouts with color options that allow customers to coordinate room looks. The company picked neutral colors in the Latitude line to ensure easy coordination with existing décors and styles. The Latitude system consists of base cabinets with doors and drawers, a workbench with USB hubs, a hanging wall cabinet, and a tall storage cabinet that assemble together as storage solutions. A gray chassis color pairs with white, natural or gray door and drawer fronts, as chosen by the consumer. The cabinet color combinations come as solid systems or mix and match options.
Ameriwood Home built the scratch-resistant, durable work surfaces on the base cabinets and workbench, from MDF and PVC in a faux concrete top style. Each base unit has adjustable feet to account for uneven floors. The cabinets feature soft closing hinges to prevent slamming and soft-grip industrial handles for comfort. The price for any given piece in the system never exceeds $300.
“It’s not always easy to find storage cabinets that function the way you need them to and also look nice. The Latitude was based on the idea that not everyone has the luxury of hiding a large cabinet behind closed doors. Sometimes it has to be seen and should coordinate with your décor or other furniture pieces,” said Cory Neudeck, Ameriwood Home director of product development.
