CHICAGO— Andis has expanded its home haircutting assortment with the introduction of its new Headliner Combo kit at the recent Housewares Show.
“At-home hair maintenance has historically trended similarly to the U.S. economy,” said Danielle Gallo, marketing project manager, Andis. “Even though the economy is improving and families are feeling less restricted with disposable income, many are still electing to do simple hair maintenance at home, which has contributed to a steady demand of at-home hair styling solutions instead of a softening.”
The Headliner Combo Kit is ideal for all hair types including thick, thin, coarse, curly, fine and other hair styles. Next to its other combo kits, the company has positioned the new product as a top-of-the-line clipper and trimmer combo for the at-home styling market.
The Headliner Combo kit includes the company’s Headstyler clipper with a high-quality stainless steel blade, Headliner trimmer for styling and dry shaving, 12 clipper attachments, four trimmer attachments, barber comb, tapered comb, scissors, beard lifting brush, blade guard, brush and oil, styling instruction booklet and storage case.
“Adding in many of the kit components rounds out everything the user needs to complete the style, ensuring that the user feels comfortable with completing their look at home,” she said.
The Andis Headliner Combo kit is currently available at Walmart for a suggested retail price of $110.
