Meyer Corp.’s Anolon brand will be the exclusive sponsor for cookware, bakeware, tools and gadgets once again this year at the 7th Annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival, presented by Food & Wine (October 16-19, 2014). As a platinum sponsor, Anolon products will be featured on all cooking stages, and at culinary events and master classes held throughout the four-day Festival.
Anolon will be center stage in the Festival’s highly anticipated culinary demonstrations, starring top American chefs, such as Anne Burrell, Tyler Florence, Aarón Sánchez, Michael Symon and Geoffrey Zakarian.
Anolon products will also be featured at all Pier 92 events, such as the annual Blue Moon Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats hosted by Rachael Ray, Jets + Chefs, The Ultimate Tailgate hosted by Mario Batali & Joe Namath, and “Chopped” Best Bloody Mary Brunch hosted by Absolut. Seven classes, “Presented by Anolon Cookware” and part of the Artisanal Cooking Series at Home Studios and led by accomplished chefs and NYC’s top food artisans, include numerous on-trend gourmet themes, such as The Art of Pickling, The Art of Pasta Making, Classic Canapés, and Terrine Making 101. Additionally, Anolon will present a Master Class on Candy Making, hosted by award-winning chef and chocolatier Jacques Torres.
Throughout the Festival’s duration, Anolon will be showcased in its booth at the Grand Tasting, presented by ShopRite, located at Pier 94. On view will be Anolon Vesta Cast Iron, Anolon Vesta Stoneware and Anolon Advanced Umber— the company’s new cookware collections for the fall season— and additional collections of cookware, bakeware and cutlery, such as Anolon Advanced Bronze, Anolon Nouvelle Copper, Anolon Nouvelle Copper Stainless Steel, Anolon Advanced Bakeware, and Anolon Cutlery.
Anolon is also hosting “The Ultimate Whisk Takers Giveaway”— a social media campaign in support of the Festival that showcases the brand’s newly developed “Whisk Takers” Tumblr blog. Festival attendees will be encouraged to take a “selfie” at the Anolon booth, post to their preferred social platform with the #WhiskTakers hashtag, and view their photo on whisktakers.com via a photo gallery on the page. In exchange, all participants will receive an Anolon whisk and will be automatically entered for a chance to win one of 10 Anolon Advanced 10-inch & 12-inch Skillet Sets. Guest chef David Bonom will also be at the Anolon booth, demonstrating and sampling a New York-inspired Cuban Reuben sandwich.
To celebrate its sponsorship of the Festival, Anolon’s “Ultimate Whisk Takers Giveaway” campaign includes a current promotion on Anolon’s Facebook Page, for a chance to win Anolon cookware.
The Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival is hosted by and benefits the Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. One hundred percent of the Festival’s net proceeds go toward helping these community-based organizations fight hunger.
