Artland is expanding its glassware for consumers beyond classic tabletop and wine glasses to include options for those drinking on the go, explained Maggie Riegel, Artland’s vp/design and product development. The company will be introducing hydration products for the table and for transport at the spring New York Tabletop Market.
“Artland is exploring hydration and storage solutions where glass is the main component,” said Riegel.
Two of Artland’s glass hydration products will be a focus at the tabletop market: Hydra Pure and Hydra Flavor.
An alternative to plastic infusion pitchers, Artland’s Hydra Flavor has a borosilicate glass body that can be used with boiling hot or cold beverages. It comes with a glass infuser insert, a chiller insert that can be filled with ice without diluting the beverage and a tea steeper for brewing hot tea. The infuser insert can be filled with mint leaves, berries or rosemary as other flavor concoctions for flavored water or tea.
The spring New York Tabletop Market will be held April 14-17.
