Bed Bath & Beyond Brings Home Support To Communities

Bed Bath & Beyond has initiated a $10 million “Bringing Home Everywhere” program to donate essential items that can help people affected by COVID-19.

The program will deliver products that provide home comfort and essential support to communities and those on the frontline of the pandemic across the U.S. and Canada. The initiative has launched in partnership with Good360, which promotes product philanthropy and purposeful giving. The initiative will tap the unique range of home, baby and infant, health and personal care, and food and beverage products carried across the retailer’s store portfolio to provide essential items to some of the 90,000 charities in Good360’s network.

Over the past four weeks, the company has donated products including towels, food, toys and baby products to organizations such as the New York City Hospital System and nonprofits such as World of Giving. Such donations of home essentials will reach frontline health care workers, hospitals and nursing homes, individuals impacted by financial hardship and at-risk communities.

Mark Tritton, Bed Bath & Beyond president and CEO, stated, “Our homes have become even more central to our lives during this crisis, yet we know that for many people that sense of home has been affected by the health and economic impacts of COVID-19. We’re doing what we can to bring home everywhere, creating comfort and essential support to communities suffering in the face of this pandemic. So, whether it’s fresh sheets, pillows and towels for people in the hospital or nursing care, food and home items for those in need, or toys or essential infant supplies for children, we will do what we can to make it easy to feel at home for those most in need at this time.”
