Bialetti is adding something a little “extra,” expanding its cookware lines, with a focus on design that is both functional as well as eye-catching in the kitchen. The company is showing the TerraCotta X-TRA and Granito X-TRA lines of cookware at the International Home + Housewares Show here.
New to the market with a launch date of April 1 is the TerraCotta X-TRA line of cookware. The company colorized the metal utensil-safe X-TRA non-stick coating to emulate clay and then combined the clay-like interior with a brown exterior and a brushed, oven-safe stainless steel handle.
Oven-safe to 400-degrees Fahrenheit, Bialetti TerraCotta X-TRA offers a thick, aluminum base for even heat distribution. The line features a three-layer metal utensil safe PFOA-free non-stick interior, and a brushed stainless steel handle.
With Bialetti’s lifetime guarantee, TerraCotta X-TRA is available in open stock pieces, including: 8-, 10- and 12-inch sauté pans; 5-quart Dutch oven; 11-inch deep sauté; and a 2-quart sauce pan for a suggested retail price range of $24.99 to $59.99. In addition, there is also a 10-piece set in the line available at the suggested retail price of $199.99.
The company is also introducing the Granito X-TRA cookware line, which is designed with a speckled, granite-like finish that has the feel of cooking on a hot, durable stone, according to Bialetti. The line is oven safe to 400-degrees Fahrenheit and features a PFOA-free, extra durable non-stick interior that is safe for use with metal utensils. Granito X-TRA also has a riveted soft-grip silicone handle and an aluminum base for even heat distribution.
The line is available in 8-, 10- and 12-inch sauté pans as well as a 5-quart Dutch oven, an 11-inch deep sauté pan, a 2-quart sauce pan and a 10-piece set. The suggested retail prices for the collection range from $19.99 to $169.99.
