Big Lots Names Haffer Chief Customer Officer

Big Lots has appointed Stephen Haffer as svp/chief customer officer.

The company also appointed him a member of the company’s executive leadership team with primary responsibility for customer engagement and messaging touchpoints, including marketing, advertising, brand development and e-commerce.

Haffer was previously an executive at American Signature, parent company of Value City Furniture and American Signature Home stores, where, over a 25-year career, he held marketing, e-commerce, information technology and business development positions, leading up to his appointment as chief innovation officer in 2016.
