Black+Decker has introduced the 36V MAX and 24V MAX Lithium Stick Vacuums with ORA (Optimized Runtime & Airflow) technology. The two new high-voltage cordless stick vacs provide fade-free power and no loss of suction, according to the company.
The versatile 2-in-1 design allows each vac to function as an upright stick vacuum as well as a detachable hand vacuum. The hand vac achieves 40 Air Watts max of power and incorporates a 12 Air-Cyclone system. These features, explained the company, help prevent material from clogging the unit and lets air flow freely through the cyclones, both of which help to maintain high-performance.
Both of the stick vacs capture fine dust and large debris on all floor types including wood, tile, and carpet and feature a wide floor head and a powered beater bar that enables them to cover wide expanses of floor. Further, the vacs include easy-to-clean, removable and washable bowls and beater bars, which the company stated negates the need for bags.
The 36V MAX retails for $299.99 and has a self-standing feature and recharges on a docking mount, while the 24V MAX retails for $239.99 and recharges via a wall mount. The vacuums are currently available at Amazon and other online retailers.
